Absolute Neroli
This marvel of absolutes is a classic of perfumes, possibly because it smells like an orange grove on a spring afternoon. It is obtained from the flower of the bitter orange tree (Citrus Aurantium amara) or orange blossom.
If you have walked barefoot through a field of orange trees and eaten a freshly picked orange, you already know its unique flavour. When we eat something that we have harvested ourselves, it tastes better... If you have never done this, put it on your to-do list. Open the jar of neroli and let it transport you to this field.
